Through a dynamics of sharing our personal, unavowed secrets, we will produce a series of small fabrics, combining textile techniques with electronics, to compose a collective tapestry.
There are unutterable secrets. What happens when we disclose them (even if our identity remains hidden)? Through a dynamics of sharing our personal, unavowed secrets, we will produce a series of small fabrics that will materially embody such experiences. By articulating textile techniques (embroidery, patchwork, etc.) with electronic analogical low-tech mechanisms (LEDs, small motors, etc.), each participant will be able to create his/her own fabric, which will be eventually integrated into a collective tapestry.
