A self-driving car is trapped by a salt circle on the slopes of Mount Parnassus. The circle’s pattern of closed and broken lines forms a continuous no entry mark, preventing the automated vehicle from moving forward. Occupying a physical and cognitive space visible to both humans and machines, the trap acts as both a refusal of technological determinism and an insistence on negotiation and systemic literacy.
