Mariela Yeregui [AR]
Mariela Yeregui is an electronic argentinian artist whose works include interactive installations, video installations, net art, interventions in public spaces, video-sculptures, and robotic installations. She is a founder and director of the Master in Technology and Aesthetics of Electronic Arts at the National University of Tres de Febrero (Argentina).
She exhibited her works in various festivals and exhibitions, such as CCK (Buenos Aires, 2018), Museo de la Memoria (Rosario, 2018), Siggraph (los Angeles, 2017), Festival Voltaje (Bogotá, 2017), Bienalsur (Buenos Aires, 2016), EAC (Montevideo, 2015), Cyberfest (San Petesbourg, 2012), centro Cultural Recoleta (Buenos Aires, 2013), Arts Santa Monica (Barcelone, 2010), Laboral (Gijón, 2007), etc. Her works have been awarded prestigious prizes —such as the First Prize in BEEP_Art (Barcelona) in 2003, the First Prize at the National Salon of Visual Arts 2005, in the “New Supports” category, the Third Prize in the Transition MX Festival, the First Prize in Museum of Modern Art and Telefonica Prize 2004 and the First Prize by the National Academy of Fine Arts.
