Inspired by experimentation, Stephanie Castonguay's practice explores process as a phenomenon leaving behind a trace. Through the use of small audio circuits, elements of memory and chance are manifested in her work. Castonguay tries to grasp the essential elements of our transient technological landscape; these being the material and its properties and the physical phenomena associated with it. She has presented her work at the Biennale internationale des arts numériques, at Nuit Blanche (in Montréal and Port-au-Prince), at Eastern Bloc, and at the Montréal International New Music Festival. She has held residencies at the Perte-de-Signal centre and the villa numerique Kër Thiossane in Dakar.

Sylvain Aube is a sound artist and creator of electronic and experimental music (as a solo artist under the name Monnocone, an hommage to the composer Ennio Morricone). Since 2015, he has been part of the local experimental scene in Montreal and its numerous venues (Eastern Bloc, Centre Clark, La Passe, La Plante, soirée BleuOrange). Under the name Monnocone, he will release his third EP in fall 2016, following "Musique Austère" and "Jaune." This release will be an analog album in cassette form, produced in a limited amount. In addition, he is developping an experimental music label following his previous projects Monochrome and Musique Nordique.
