Milo Reinhardt [CA]

Milo Reinhardt is a Montreal based multidisciplinary artist with a BFA in Painting and Drawing, and a graduate certificate in Digital Technologies in Design Art Practice from Concordia University. His work combines experimental sound composition, speculative design, and immersive installation while exploring issues of identity, death and the digital.

As an electronic musician, he produces as /||\||\ and is co-founder of the collective /||\||\ draws inspiration from the infinite mutability of the digital environment and aims to position itself as a record of the tenuous transition that is our digitization. Reinhardt has been an artist in residence at the Société des Arts Technologiques, Red Bull Music Academy and Château Éphémère - fabrique sonore et numérique, and has performed at MUTEK, Forms Festival, and Sight + Sound, as well as having presented work at the Le Musée d’art contemporain de Montréal, Perte de Signal, Eastern Bloc, Phi Centre and Usine-C.
