Introduction to 3d printing workshop on the first locally designed and built 3D printer in Quebec, by Stéphane Rousseau from robotiquesequencing.com .
From design to prototype, this workshop will cover all aspects of 3D printing in order to get you started on prototyping and creative printing. We will go over the software required, the parts involved, workflow. By the end of the workshop you will have all the information to get started on your designs. The cost of the workshop covers animator fees and an invitation to come back with your design to have it printed.
Stéphane is the designer and creator of the EchoRap, the first 3D printer designed and produced in Montréal. Stéphane holds a master's degree in electrical engineering and a bachelor's degree in math and computer science. His interests are in 3D printing, firmware design, Arduino and AVR, VHDL, Open Sound Protocol, Python and functional programming. At the Eastern Bloc Lab, he explores various add-ons to 3D printers in order to expand the 3D printing process to other materials.
