A 2-day beginner workshop on Arduino with artist Patrice Coulombe. Coulombe will give an introduction to the creation of artistic projects using electronic circuits. Arduino is a prototyping device that can be programmed to analyze and produce electric signals in order to execute diverse functions (ex: use of sensors, automated processes, robotics, and many more creative uses). The process is used to build interactive independent objects and systems, and can be connected to a computer in order to communicate with its software (ex: Macromedia Flash, Processing, Max/MSP, Pure Data, SuperCollider). Eastern Bloc will follow this introductory workshop with a more advanced workshop on various applied uses of Arduino.
